Purpose of this web site -
Pursuant to a Settlement Agreement governing the expansion of the Altamont Landfill and Resource Recovery Facility (ALRRF), the City of Livermore, the City of Pleasanton, the Sierra Club, the Northern California Recycling Association (NCRA), and Altamont Landowners Against Rural Mismanagement (ALARM) won the right to have an independent Community Monitor (CM) review reports from, and monitor operations at, the Landfill. 

This web site is a repository of documents that have been developed as part of that monitoring effort.
